The XY Players have been doing shows semi-professionally  since 1943.​But in 2014 they decided to roll the dice and quit their day jobs.  They began to panic.  Could they get their day jobs back?  Or were they out  on a limb without a paddle? 

 

At first the Players tried to focus their new career on cinema, until it occurred to them that cinema is the same thing as movies.  They decided  theatre was the way to go, and later they switched to theater. 

 

Today the XY players have settled down a bit, and are happy to simply be influencing the lives of every single man, woman, and child on the planet in a major way.  When they're not trying to crack people up with their inscrutable jokes, they enjoy needlepoint, badminton, and envy.
